The Drama Club is for teens 12 and up. We will have weekly meetings every Tuesday (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm) starting October 7th, 2024. In addition, a variety of workshops and classes will be provided through out the year in addition to fundraising activities.
Our goal is to produce a full musical production on the weekend of May 8-10, 2025. The week leading up to this performance will have a number of additional rehearsals including May 1st and 2nd, 2026.
WE ARE ASKING FOR 100% COMMITMENT TO THIS WEEK. SPORTS, ETC WILL NEED TO BE ADJUSTED FOR OUR PERFORMANCES AND REHEARSALS. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
It is important the teens joining us make the commitment to the production especially when it comes to school and sports activities. The occasional missing of a rehearsal is acceptable but a consistent absence makes it near impossible for us to rehearse effectively. Absences during the week leading up to the performance will be unacceptable unless we are dealing with an illness.
A parent meeting will be planned for mid-October.
Every student will have a role on stage in the final production unless they are a part of our club as a backstage technician.
Scholarships are available based upon need as determined by our Board of Directors. Some questions will apply. Please contact us for more information.

Classes will run Tuesday Nights from 4:30 to 5:30 pm (starting October 7th, 2025) with the exception for weather, instructor illness, calendar and school holidays. Club cancellations will be made up by the end of the year.
Our goal is to have a final presentation on Saturday, April 18th, 2026. All students will be expected to participate. In addition there will be additional rehearsals during the prior week including Saturday, April, 11th, 2026. All students will be expected to participate.
Ages for students are recommended from 6 to 12 (with birthday by the end of December of 2025). Students younger than 6 will be considered on a case by case basis. Every student will participate on stage for each performance. There will be expectations of memorization and preparedness for final presentation. These expectations can be managed according to student's ability and age.
We will participate in other fundraisers with The Basement Theatre as part of group activities.
All classes and performances will happen at The Basement Theatre.
Build your confidence on stage through acting workshops and script analysis. No experience necessary and there will be no performing on stage in front of an audience.
